With some precise planning and a romantic gondola ride from Gondola Adventures, this Tangled inspired proposal was PERFECT.

The Planning
To ensure I perfectly captured this special moment, Chris and I had a quick meeting to discuss his detailed plans. We set the location where I should be set up and once I arrived there, I made sure they couldn't see me.
I could do to make sure I was not seen by Emerald until after the big surprise. We set a location right next to a restaurant near the water where I would then arrive 15 minutes prior to set myself up
Capturing the PERFECT Shot
After tracking their location for 20 minutes, I spotted them floating down the river towards me. I was sure to take my time to composing them against the backdrop of the sunset while also staying out of their point of view. This is the moment that Emerald finds treasure floating in the water on their gondola ride. Such a creative way to propose!
The Big Moment
Eventually, they arrived at the proposal point where Chris got down on one knee and popped the big question. This perfect moment was perfectly caught on camera and it was truly beautiful to witness. Emerald happily said yes to Chris! This surprise proposal was a great success!
Post-Proposal Moments
Soon after Chris and Emerald made their engagement official, I caught their attention so we could capture a few portraits as they made their way back to the docks. I am loving how happy they both look. Love looks great on everyone!
The Treasure

The Celebration
I then met up with Chris and Emerald after they departed from their gondola. We captured some romantic shots of them in front of the water, which was dazzling with golden sunlight. They are both glowing with happiness. Lastly, we took some photos with their friends and family. Everyone was thrilled for the couple, especially the fathers of the couple!
And they lived happily ever after!
